      OREGON — Lila G. Carr, 76, formerly of 300 N. Fourth St., Oregon, died Monday evening in White Pines Manor, Oregon, following an extended illness.
       She was born May 6, 1901, in Mt. Morris Township, Ogle County, the daughter of Charles and Belle (Goodrich) Carr. She lived in Oregon all her life and was a member of the Oregon United Methodist Church.
       Three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. There are no immediate survivors. Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Farrell Funeral Home, Oregon, with the Rev. R. James Reid, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Silver Creek Cemetery, Leaf River. There will be no visitation. A memorial fund has been established for the church and the Oregon Ambulance Association..
