RUSSELL Barbara Clare (née Kuhn). Unexpectedly but peacefully at the I.C.U. of the Royal Jubilee. Born July 12, 1913 in Vancouver, B.C. She is survived by two children, Wendy and Derek; sister, Dorothea Mathieu; grandson, Matthew Meredith; granddaughter, Kieran.
Barbara taught English and Drama in Fort St. John for many years. Upon retirement she devoted her energy and intelligence to ongoing programs at the Royal B.C. Museum; and in particular the cataloguing and maintenance ol the uocent s library. Barbara had a keen appreciation ot life ironies. She maintained this and a lucid sense of humor until the end. She will be remembered with love and affection by those who knew her, Deepest gratitude to the staff of the l.C.U. Christie, Catherine, Peter and Taroi.
Barbara emphatically declined a funeral service. Those wishing to celebrate her life are invited to meet at the Central Library meeting room Wed., May 7, 1997, 10 00 am.
