      OLLERICH — Wendy Minerva (nee Friesen) Passed away peacefully on January 7, 2004 at age 59. Dearly missed by husband Roger, daughter Kieran Jan, brother Derek, sister-in-law Connie (Wally), brother-in-law David, step children Kathleen (Geoff), Richard (Miranda), Daniel, Denise (Robert). Step grandchildren Lorne, Salina, Rylan, Russell, Melissa, Tyleen, Jessica, Ashley, and Brodie. Step granddaughter Danialle (Jason) and their three children Rayanne, Nicholas and Darian. Her cousins Celia and Lita. Also greatly missed by her close friends Dennis, Joan, Betty and Les.
       Wendy was born in Vancouver and raised in the West End. Her love of children and anything furry carried her through the years. She loved to help people who needed help. Worked as a child care worker for years and later as a special needs teacher. She was always willing to share food with others and roll up her sleeves when needed. She will be missed by many friends and co-workers. Boots her cat will be nurtured by her husband Roger.
       A memorial service will be held at St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, 71st and Hudson St., Vancouver, B.C. on Friday, January 16th at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Graeme Brownlee officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: B.C. Cancer Foundation, 200-601 W. Broadway, Vancouver, B.C. V5Z 4C2.
