      Grace Margaret Orchard, 95, Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 9, 2010. Born February 8, 1914, in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Oswald and Nellie (Coes) Orchard. Her career was in hairdressing in Moncton and then in Sussex, where she had a wide circle of clients and friends. Her generosity and humor will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Grace is survived by nieces Nancy Peele, Letty Anne Forsyth, Judith Maxwell, Barbara Law, Bonnie Leaman and Frances Stewart, as well as nephews Jim Marr and Kent Chisholm, sister-in-law Elva Orchard and several cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sisters Mildred Chisholm, Jean Marr, brothers Ralph and Fred Orchard and nephew Fred Orchard and neice Susan Flanagan.
       A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Norton Baptist Church in Norton, NB, with burial at nearby Riverbank Cemetery. Donations in Grace’s memory may be made to the Norton Baptist Church, or to a charity of your choice. We extend special appreciation for the loving care given to Grace at Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown, NS.
