    1. [S4] Obituary.
      Benjamin Tupper, formerly of Kingsport, N.S., and Saskatoon, died here Friday morning at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Almer Sisler, at the age of eighty years.
       Mrs. T.E. Bingham, of Saskatoon, is a daughter and H.A. Tupper of the same city is a son. Mrs. Fred W. Barker, of Sheffield, N.B. and Mrs. E. Harvie and Mrs. Archie Leitch, of Kentville, N.S., are daughters. His other daughter is Mrs. Sisler, 2716 Twenty-first avenue west; and his other sons are L.A. Tupper, of Calgary, George V. and H.G. of Wayne, who operate the Rose Deer Coal Company, and Frank F. of Forth Wayne, Indiana.
       The late Mr. Tupper lived at Kingsport, N.S., where he was engaged in ship construction until 1907, when he moved to Saskatoon, where he remained until 1913, when he went to California. He came to Alberta in 1918 and living in Wayne for a year then in Youngstown for two years, coming to Calgary last October. His wife died at Wayne in 1918, but Mr. Tupper enjoyed excellent health until last Friday when he was stricken down He was an active member of the Methodist church and for thirty years was superintendent of a Sunday school in Kingsport.
       The funeral will be held at Wayne Saturday afternoon, his wife having been buried there.
