      Linda Bergmann Walker, 69, of Dry Fork, Va., passed away on June 10, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. From her birth in Gastonia, N.C., on April 26, 1948, until her passing on Saturday, she nourished her family and friends with love, faith, and knowledge. She retired from Owens Brockway, and enjoyed her time while making crafts and cooking for her loved ones. She was the daughter of the late Russell and Kathleen Geary Bergmann. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Walker; and her sisters, Mary McDonald and Sally Jo Bowen.
       Linda’s survivors include, her daughter, Patricia “Trixie” Parker, and her husband, Steve of Burlington, N.C.; sons, Christopher Walker and wife, Tracey, Paul Walker and wife, Kelly, and Colie Walker, all of Dry Fork, Va.; and sister, Sharon Smith and husband, Danny, of Gastonia, N.C. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Journie Walker, Kassidy Parker, Jordan Walker, Rachel Parker, Devin Walker, and Tarrah Adams.
       A celebration of her life and faith will be held at her home, 1900 Hill Creek Road, Dry Fork, VA 24594, on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, from 5 until 8 p.m. and at other times the family will be at the residence. Online condolences at www.wrenn-yeatts.com
