Ola St. Pierre, 72, of 61 Emerson St., a cook at the former Beaumay Diner for 18 years before retiring in 1970, died Saturday at Woonsocket Hospital. She was the wife of Albert St. Pierre.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Afilia (Hamel) Giroux.
Besides her husband she leaves three sons, Norman and Paul St. Pierre, both of Woonsocket, and Albert St. Pierre of New Ipswich, N.H.; four daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Bergeron, Cecile St. Pierre, RN, and Mrs. Gertrude Lataille, all of Woonsocket, and Mrs. Paulette Mattson of North Smithfield; two brothers, David and Paul Giroux, both of North Smithfield; two sisters, Mrs. Celia Minor and Mrs. Roseanna Bourget, both of Woonsocket; 16 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8 a.m. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 S. Main St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 at Sacred Heart Church, Second Avenue. Burial will be in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, South Bellingham.
