      Esther Gowen Frank, age 94, died Monday May 1, 1995 in a local care center, of causes related to old age. She grew up in McMinnville. She resided at Boise in Idaho, Cheyenne in Wyoming, and Phoenix in Arizona before returning to Oregon to be near family members. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper in the construction business in Arizona. She had a lifelong interest in the religions of the world. She attended Hopi ceremonies in Arizona in an Arizona kiva and studied ancient Egyptian beliefs, among others.
