      Mrs. Annie F. (Jackman) Marchant, wife of Howard B. Marchant, died last night at her home, 21 Cane street, aged 68 years. She was born in Newfoundland and lived in this city 40 years.
      She was a member of the Highland Baptist church, Lady Emma chapter, O E. S., and the Pearl Hill Rebekah lodge.
      She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Newton of this city, two sons, Everett Marchant of North Adams and Arthur Marchant of Winchester, five grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. J. F. Callahan of this city.
