TUXBURY, Eleanor C. (Kinnon) – Of Malden, October 1st. Devoted wife of the late Robert W. Tuxbury, Sr. Beloved mother of James Tuxbury and his wife Laraine of Malden, Richard Tuxbury of FL, Paul Tuxbury and his wife Joanne of East Boston, Alan Tuxbury and his wife Mary of Attleboro, Barbara McNeill of Exeter, NH and the late Robert W. Tuxbury, Jr. Dear sister of Lawrence Kinnon of Malden and the late Virginia Morley, Constance Pereira, Albert, James, Frederick, Robert, Joseph, Richard and Clement Kinnon. Also lovingly survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) Malden on Monday, October 7th at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph’s Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 9 o’clock. Visiting Hours in the Carroll Funeral Home on Sunday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. A lifelong Malden resident, Eleanor passed away at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital Tuesday afternoon after a short illness. Devoted to and beloved by her family and friends she was an avid sports fan who loved the Red Sox, Patriots, Boston College, Notre Dame and golf. She relished her time with her card friends, her friends at 630 Salem St. as well as with her friends at her Maine camp ground in Kennebunk.
