HOLLAND James Meyer, 81, of St. Petersburg, died May 6, 1985. The memorial service is Wednesday, May 8 at 1:30 pm at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 1901 62nd Ave. So., the Rev. Klaus Coch and Martin Carlson officiating, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to ones favorite charity. NATIONAL CREMATION SOCIETY

A memorial service for Col. James M. Holland, 81, a career army officer and an attorney, will be Wednesday in St. Andrew Lutheran Church, St Petersburg, Fla. Col. Holland, a former Hinsdale resident, died Monday in a St. Petersburg hospital. Col. Holland, also a civil engineer, was a graduate of Purdue University and the Chicago Kent College of Law. He served as regional field officer for the Selective Service System in Chicago from 1950 to 1967. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; two sons, Dr. James M. and Richard F. ; a daughter, Carolyn Corey; a stepson, William Herriott; a stepdaughter, Carol Woloson; 15 grandchildren; and a sister.

The marriage of Miss Louise Roehler, daughter of Mrs. Henry D. Roehler of 225 Logan boulevard, to J. Meyer Holland of Knightstown, Ind., will take place today. Miss Roehler and Mr. Holland attended Purdue university, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and he of Alpha Tau Omega.
