Lillian E. Nicholas, 71, of Butts Road, Woodstock, Conn., died Thursday in Westcott Care Center, Danielson, Conn. She was the wife of the late Ernest A. Nicholas.
She worked for five years at Geer’s Christmas Tree Farm, Woodstock. Before that she was personnel director at Bethlehem Woodcraft for several years.
Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Robert C. and Edna May (Henry) Dollar.
She was a member and former secretary of St. Phillip’s Episcopal Church, Putnam, Conn., and was active with the choir and Bible study. She and her husband provided a ministry to area nursing homes.
Survivors: Sons, Thomas R. Riley of Putnam, and James W. Riley and Sean T. Riley, both of Bath; stepdaughter, Ilene Nicholas of Geneva, N.Y.; brother, Robert of Hellertown, and sister, Elva Bitler, in Maryland.
