      Beverly Geldart of Arthurette passed away at the Victoria Glen Manor on January 26, 2011. Born in Perth-Andover on June 9, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Beatrice (Falding) MacLauchlan. Beverly leaves behind her daughters Diana Rayworth (Colin) of Fredericton, JoAnne Reid (Cecil) of Smithers, BC; sons David Geldart of Miramichi, Howard Geldart (Sharon) of Arthurette, Kenneth Geldart (Karen) of Moncton; daughter-in-law Diane Bullis (Bill); son-in-law David Olive (Dianne); sister-in-law Vera Nevers; 12 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Thomas Geldart; her daughter Rosalind Olive; and her sister Adelaide Evans.
       Beverly graduated from Mount Carmel Academy in Saint John. She also graduated from the Provincial Normal School in Fredericton in 1937. She enjoyed a brief teaching career in Victoria County schools. She was an active contributor to her community. She was a devoted member of St. Helen’s Anglican Church serving as organist for 50 years. She was also a life member of the NB Women’s Institute and the Keenagers Group.
       Funeral service was held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 2 pm from St. Helen’s Anglican Church. Rev. Amanda Longmoore officiated. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery at a later date.
