C. Omer Small, 66, Former Knightstown Resident, Is Dead
C. Omer Small, 66, of Syracuse, NY, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ethel Masters, in Syracuse, Wednesday evening. He made his home in Knightstown until 1924, when he moved to Syracuse. He visited frequently in Knightstown. Mr. Small was a millwright and built a number of machines for box manufacturing companies. Mr. Small had been in failing health for several years.
The body will be taken to the Butcher Funeral Home in Knightstown; funeral arrangements have not been completed.
Survivors include his wife, two daughters: Mrs. Ethel Masters and Mrs. Miriam Peggs, both of Syracuse, NY; a son, John Small of Westchester, CT; four grandsons; one granddaughter; two brothers: Walter Small of Rush, IN and Floyd Small of Knightstown; and one sister, Mrs. Ralph Hoffman of Knightstown.
