(Davenport) Gage 74, of Worcester died Friday, April 21, 2017 and UMass Memorial Healthcare, Worcester.  She was born December 27, 1942 in Gardner the daughter of Howard L. Davenport and Jane E. (May)Davenport. Joyce grew up in Petersham and graduated from North Brookfield High School. She worked as a dispatcher for over 20 years at Ranger Tran­sportation in Worcester. She also worked previously in sales for United Art. She enjoyed cooking for family and spending time with her family.  She leaves two sons, Scott H. Herbert of Bristol Connecticut; Shane H. Herbert and his wife Michelle of Leicester, MA; one sister Nancy Natale of Cape Coral Florida and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband Roy Herbert, and by her second husband Richard Gage.  Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. The family suggest that memorial contributions be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association, 260 Cochituate Road #200, Framingham, MA 01701.
